About the Role
Great opportunity for an experienced Commercial Lines servicing agent who is looking to join a collaborative team! If you prefer to spend more time focusing on the client, and less time checking in the work you have submitted to carriers, this is the opportunity for you!
The Commercial Lines Account Manager position requires experience working with Medium and Large Commercial Accounts. Primary responsibilities include managing the day to day needs of the client as well as managing the renewal of accounts by collaborating with the Producer, Account Executive and Account Coordinator.
Responsibilities
Point of contact for customer inquiries.
Submit claims, endorsements, and other policy servicing correspondence to carriers.
Marketing renewals, preparing proposals, & reviewing contracts for insurance requirements and policy forms when applicable.
Possess the knowledge to assess potential exposures based on information provided by the client and make coverage recommendations to the Account Executive/Producer and client based on that information.
Updating agency management system with account information as submitted to carriers.
Document all client contact in agency management system.
Issue Certificates of Insurance, Evidence of Property forms, change request forms, renewal certificates, and various other insurance forms as requested.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with carriers & clients.
Taking initiative to investigate by inquiring with clients and carriers, as well as reading policy forms in order to provide the most comprehensive answers to policyholder questions as well as formulating risk management solutions.
Requirements
Qualified candidates will have at least 3 years experience working in Commercial Lines preferably in and independent agency setting.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Property & Casualty License.
Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
Ability to multi-task with a high level of accuracy.
Self-motivated, with excellent organization and time management skills.
Desire to be a part of a positive working environment where team work is key.
Possess the knowledge and experience to mentor less experienced team members and collaborate within the Commercial Lines department.
